Dopo decenni di attenta osservazione e propagazione selettiva, l’autore presenta due nuove popolazioni di cultivar distinte di Lithops dorotheae, chiamate ‘Cathy’s Green’ e ‘Will’s Red’. Pur mantenendo fiori gialli identici a quelli della specie tipo, ‘Cathy’s Green’ presenta corpi grigio-verdastri con finestre verde più scuro, mentre ‘Will’s Red’ mostra corpi grigio-biancastri con marcate rubricature che creano un vistoso aspetto generale rosso.

After decades of careful observation and selective propagation, the author introduces two new distinct cultivar populations of Lithops dorotheae, named ‘Cathy’s Green’ and ‘Will’s Red’. While maintaining yellow flowers identical to the species type, ‘Cathy’s Green’ features greenish-grey bodies with darker green windows, whereas ‘Will’s Red’ displays whitish-grey bodies with bold rubrications that create a striking overall red appearance.
